Peel Pool Association Division 1 Doubles Tournament was held at Dudley Park Bowling & Recreation Club (Inc) on Thursday, 8 May 2025.
Six doubles teams had nominated by the closing date and although it was a small field it was of high calibre. Tokz with the assistance of TJ (Taylor Jones) ran a tight ship putting the pairs through their early paces before getting to knockout stage being the best of 5 frames with the final being the best of 7 frames.
Congratulations go to Steve Hale and Paul Aylward in a final that came down to the wire winning 4 frames to 3 over Kim Buchholz and Danny Weavers who held their nerve and made a very strong comeback.
Well done to all who took the time to compete on the night. Thanks must go again to our host venue Dudley Park Bowling & Recreation Club (Inc) and Michelle’s great work behind the bar and around the venue keeping both pool and darts players well served on the night.
