Congratulations to the winners of the Peel Pool Association Summer Competition.

Peel Pool Summer league kicked off in December 2025 with 8 teams vying for top PPA summer team, collecting prize money and bragging rights to next season. 2025/26 saw 63 players spread across 9 teams and as we have mentioned previously the uptake of new players in this year’s competition was fantastic.
There were some very competitive teams culminating in the wind-up on Saturday 14 March at Dudley Park Bowling and Recreation Club (Inc).
Some formalities and prize money to teams and some individuals:
- Top New Female – Niki Spiers from the Balls Down receiving $150 for her efforts.
- Top New Male in the competition was a really close battle.
1st was taken out by Thomas Male from the Halls Head Hustlers receiving $150;
2nd Aidan Thomas from Chalk You Too receiving $100 and;
3rd Terrell Ormsby from Balls Down receiving $50.
Main event for the day was the final between the Peel Jaguars and the Table Titans, some great action was seen between the two sides with some closely fought battles and was one for one until the latter rounds.
With the game locked at 12 all the Peel Jaguars Geoff Lambert won his game to an almost rapturous celebration by Damian Bates but stopped abruptly by Mike King because Jarrod Parkinson was going in for the win for his game and the series win. As the black ball dropped in for that win the CROWD WENT WILD, Peel Jaguars took the win 14 – 10.
Thank you to Table Titans for putting up a great fight, some good games were had by all and you all played great. Table Titians collected $800 while Peel Jaguars took home the top prize of $1,000.
A special mention to the bar staff at Dudley Park Bowling & Recreation Club (Inc) Dani White and Michelle Herrero, Lauren and Kristy at Halls Head Bowling & Recreational Club (Inc) and Renee and CaeLee at All Malt Brewing with putting up with this group of misfits and we look forward to seeing you all next summer.
