2025 COUNTRY CHAMPIONSHIPS

Western Australian Eightball Federation (WAEBF) is the primary body for Western Australia and all competing associations, and its members must be affiliated with the WAEBF.

Each year over the June long weekend (Western Australia Day) the Federation hosts the annual Country Championships which brings hundreds of pool players together from all over country WA, from Albany in the South to Port Hedland in the North and all major towns in between.

The Championships are held over two days, being Saturday and Sunday for the team events. The Singles Championship Knockout competition for “Open and Women” commences on the Friday evening with the Grand Final for both categories being played at lunchtime on the Sunday.

The selection process to compete at the Country Championships is by a call of nominations from financial members from the Tournament Director.  The committee then selects the players to form teams for each appropriate division, including the captains responsible for that team.

While the atmosphere is competitive it is also a great experience and a good deal of fun representing your Association and your town.

Representing Peel Pool Association is a privilege and if chosen you are an ambassador for your entire Association.
