2026 Division 2 – Scotch Doubles Tournament Results

Peel Pool Association Division 2 Scotch Doubles Tournament was held at All Malt Brewing (Inc) on Tuesday 19 May 2026.

36 players nominated for the event, but poor weather saw a smaller attendance than expected and unfortunately making round one problematic with too many byes, whereas round two looked the part with all tables engaged.

Into the semifinals we had Rob Ramsdale / Rod Pearce vs Glenn McCormack / Michael McCormack.  This game was worthy of a final with victors Rob & Rod in a very tight tussle winning 3 frames to 2.

In the other semifinal we had Matthew Wade / Greg Morgan in another close match winning 3 frames to 2 against Jason West / Gary Hatchett.

The final was a best of five frames format between

Rob Ramsdale / Rod Pearce vs Matthew Wade / Greg Morgan

Congratulations go to Rob Ramsdale and Rod Pearce for taking out the 2026 Division 2 scotch doubles championship in a close encounter winning 3 frames to 2.
