2026 Division 2 – Doubles Tournament Results

Peel Pool Association Division 2 Doubles Tournament was held at All Malt Brewing (Inc) on Tuesday 21 April 2026.

32 players nominated for the Div 2 Doubles, and we kicked it off with some quick matches in a best of three format, with most ending after straight wins.

The second round saw a more competitive feel with most games going to a third frame decider which was good to see.

Into the semifinals we had Mick Grey / Erica Keighley winning 2 frames to 1 over Steve Sibon / Tim Elwin.

In the other semifinal we had Jason West / Gary Hatchett winning 2 frames to 1 against Daniel Lowry / Luke Smith.

The final was best of five frames format between

Jason West / Gary Hatchett vs Mick Grey / Erica Keighley

Emotions ran high as Jason let out a loud “FINALLY!” as he and Gary took the win 3 frames to 1 the Div 2 Doubles final, after many past attempts at taking out the top gong.

Congratulations Jason West and Gary Hatchett 2026 Division 2 Doubles Champions.
