Hi all. Below you will find a small summary and a few pictures from Grand Final day.
Many people were involved in making this a great day and the Committee would like to
thank them all. Special mention should goto Charlie Spiers for making sure that we
had the best tables to play on, to the Silver Sands Tavern for providing us with a
venue and great hospitality and finally to the members that stepped upto adjudicate.
It was great to see people step forward and donate their time. Thankyou. :-)
Luke Carter started his day in fine form with a 5/1 victory over Keith Carter.

Luke Carter was up again and continued on his winning way with a 4/0 win over Peter Trebley.

Ian Hart was too good for Trevor Phillips winning 4/0.

Johnny Nixon and Mark Selvey proved too strong for Ben Dougherty and Ben Vidot winning 3/1.

Simon Ibbs played a close game against Tom Martion winning 4/3 in the end.

Madora Predators were on the top of the ladder for most of the year and showed why by
winning 14/6 in the final against the RSL Diggers. Top players for the Madora Predators were
Ben Dougherty 3/3, Ben Vidot 3/3 and Neil Barton 3/3.

This picture was taken after the boys had received their medallions. Unfortunately
quite a few had disappeared before the picture was taken.
Below we have the RSL Diggers. Tom Martion played well winning 2/3.

Sands Black finished third after the end of the home and away season but had an awesome
finals series and topped it off by winning 14/12 in the Grand Final against the Straight 8's.

Below we have the Straight 8's. Maureen Raffaele (Capt) played well winning 2/3.

The Footy Club went through the season only losing the one game and it showed on Grand Final day
when they defeated the MBC Mud Dogs by 14/6. Best players for the Footy Club were Rod Gillies 3/3,
Greg Barnard 3/3 and Adam Meakins 2/2.
